BTS’s Jungkook shared the song “Dreamers” which was recorded specifically for the World Cup in Qatar. The musician not only published the track but also performed it at the opening ceremony.

The composition was written and produced by RedOne, who had a hand in the hits of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Ava Max.

Jungkook became the first K-pop artist to perform at the opening of the football championship. During the number, he was joined by the popular Qatari singer Fahad Al Qubaisi.

The single “Dreamers” has already topped the iTunes charts in 92 countries, including the US, UK, and Russia. Fans really liked the track: they think it fits Jungkook’s voice perfectly. They also praised his performance and confessed that they are proud of their idol. The video for the song has not yet been released, but it will only have to wait a couple of days – its premiere should take place on Tuesday, November 22.

“Dreamers” is not the first composition to become the soundtrack for the championship. On Friday, the official anthem of the event, “Tukoh Taka”, was released. It was recorded by three artists at once: Nicki Minaj, Colombian musician Maluma, and Lebanese singer Miriam Fares. Interestingly, the lyrics of the song are also written in three languages ​​at once – English, Spanish and Arabic.

Earlier in 2022, Jungkook featured on Charlie Puth’s single “Left And Right” and released “Stay Alive” on the soundtrack of the webtoon comic 7Fates: CHAKHO. As for BTS themselves, the group officially went on hiatus in June. In October, it became known that all members of the team would be drafted into the South Korean army – though not together, but in turn. At the same time, their label Big Hit announced that the BTS reunion will take place no earlier than 2025.

Now the musicians are focused on their own careers. So, back in July, J-Hope released his solo album “Jack In The Box”. And on December 2, the solo record of RM, the leader of the group, will be released – it was called “Indigo”.
